Building Better Disciples in-Christ Jesus
What is your motivation for the things in Christ Jesus? Growing close to God? Being more than what is considered today's Christian?" Nice! Well, mine is to fulfill the commandment which Jesus left us in Matthew 28:18-20 "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." If you stop to unpack this statement, you quickly realize that the ask is quite the tall order of events. To make disciples of nations, logically suggest that you must first be a disciple. To be a disciple, you must first learn to submit to the study of God's Word and his ways over your own. To submit to God's Word and ways, you must first believe God is (Hebrews 11:6 NIV). So, you get the point? To get from A to B, you need to know where to enter and when and where to exit into the mission field to start the work of making disciples of nations. However, the question is, "Where do you start, and how do you begin?" Fortunately, this is why "Living the Word of God Out Loud Ministries LLC, a.k.a. Discipleship28GO," is here to help you within your journey to becoming a Disciple in-Christ Jesus.
Our mission is an unwavering commitment to cultivating an environment for devoted Christians who want to evolve into stronger disciples of God's Word, ways, and the love of the Father and are prepared to share and train others in the Gospel of Christ Jesus. This site is for those dedicated to pursuing spiritual growth and enlightenment. Our labor goes beyond the natural seeking of intellect alone. We teach and encourage biblical principles of the spiritual realm found within the pages of the bible and with the help of the Holy Spirit and His glorious gifting of the "Gifts of the Spirit," which he administers to us freely. We think of ourselves as a "Think tank" or a kitchen of Faith. Moreover, we greatly encourage the growth of the Five Fold Ministry offices mentioned in Ephesians 4:11-13 NIV and exercise the Word's maturity to yield God's promises fully.
Our goal is to become a resource center for the Disciples of Christ or those who are curious about our beliefs and want to know more. Over time, we will continue adding resources such as video links, documentation from bible studies meetings, various book studies, scriptural research, and audio teaching of biblical topics such as "Praying the Scriptures" confessions as guides or lecture notes. While you may find that many of our resources are free, some resources, such as study guides and lecture notes, will be available for purchase, all to support this site as we are not a non-profit ministry but a business that focuses on education and the development of discipleship of nations in the teaching of Jesus Christ.
As we embark upon this journey together, we want to truly embrace the understanding of the Law of Love found within (Matthew 22:37-40), which stands as the framework of the centerpiece of our core motivation and why we choose to do what we do in Christ Jesus. The power behind all the spiritual gifts given to us by the Holy Spirit relies on our choice to love God completely and, secondly, to love our neighbor as ourselves. Anything short of this will lead to less than God's best in our lives.
