Our Attitude: No Cowards Zone
The guiding principle of our attitude as Disciple in-Christ is encapsulated in the motto "No Cowards Zone," rooted in Revelation 21:8. This signifies our commitment to approaching life with boldness and courage, aligning with the pursuit of God and His presence. "We are not scared to fail! Moreover, we'll discuss it to learn from the lesson and share it with others. Remember, we a spiritual test kitchen where we're are more than willing to try it out again and again until we get it right." We proudly and unapologetically seek a deeper connection with the divine without succumbing to shame or intimidation. Our intentional choice to prioritize God's ways over human standards is a testament to our dedication to spiritual growth. Drawing inspiration from James 1:22, we emphasize the transformative power of actively living out our faith, aspiring not just to be hearers of the Word but fervently striving to be doers of the work of Christ. This ethos underscores our relentless pursuit of becoming better disciples, continually learning and applying the teachings of Christ in our daily lives. In essence, this is who we are and what we do. Read More.
Guiding Principle #1: The Law of Love
Matthew 22:37-40: 37 “‘ . . .Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Guiding Principle #2: Study to Show Yourself Approved Before God
2 Timothy 2:15: 15 Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.
Guiding Principle #3: God Avenges His Own (The Fight Not Your!)
2 Thessalonians 1:6-9: 6 God will do what is right. He will give trouble to those who trouble you. 7 And he will give rest to you who are troubled and to us also when the Lord Jesus appears with burning fire from heaven with his powerful angels. 88 Then he will punish those who do not know God and who do not obey the Good News about our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 Those people will be punished with a destruction that continues forever. They will be kept away from the Lord and from his great power.
Guiding Principle #4: Discipleship
Matthew 28:18-20: 18 “. . . All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
As we mentioned previously, our mission is an unwavering commitment to cultivating an environment for devoted Christians who want to evolve into stronger disciples of God's Word, ways, and the love of the Father and are prepared to share and train others in the Gospel of Christ Jesus. This site is for those who are dedicated to the relentless pursuit of spiritual growth and enlightenment. Our labor goes beyond the natural seeking of intellect alone. We teach and encourage biblical principles of the spiritual realm found within the pages of the bible and with the help of the Holy Spirit and His glorious gifting of the "Gifts of the Spirit," which he administers to us freely. We think of ourselves as a "Think tank" or a kitchen of Faith. Moreover, we greatly encourage the growth of the Five Fold Ministry offices mentioned in Ephesians 4:11-13 NIV and exercise the Word's maturity to yield God's promises fully.
Our leading goal over time is to become your resource center for becoming a Disciples of Christ or a safe place for those curious about our beliefs and wanting to know more. We want to be the site you go to, talk about, and share with others who are also interested in getting more out of Sunday morning. Our goal is to operate with the same effectiveness as the Church at Jerusalem led by the Holy Spirit Himself, as demonstrated in the Book Acts (Acts 13:2-2 NKJV).
